Sneaklings

Sneak Cam

Bait your room. Look away. See what snuck in.

Cute, weird cryptids only come out when nobody is looking. Leave a treat on your real floor, look away, and your Sneak Cam plays the visit back in grainy night vision.

Coming soon to the App Store

An iPhone app for iOS 18 or later. Free to start, with an optional Pro upgrade.

How it works

  1. Leave a treat

Point your phone at the floor and tap. A piece of candy drops in with a little glow.

  2. Look away

The first time, three seconds is enough. After that, put the phone down and go make a sandwich. Sneaklings are shy.

  3. Check the cam

Look back and your Sneak Cam clicks on. The visit plays right there in your room, in grainy night vision.

  4. Snap it

A sneakling is mid-grab. You get three shots before it bolts. A shot of it staring into the lens scores best.

Make-believe, on purpose

Sneaklings are not real, and the Sneak Cam is part of the game. Nothing is recorded while you are away.

The game plays out each visit when you check the cam, and your phone only looks at your room while the game is open in front of you.

Meet a few regulars

Every room has them. Different rooms tend to bring different visitors.

Candy Goblin, a round, fluffy dark critter with pointy pink ears and big golden eyes, holding a wrapped candy

Candy Goblin

Will trade you one wink for one candy.

Sock Noodle, a long striped sock creature with a stripy hat and a tiny pink tongue

Sock Noodle

Lives in the sock you lost in 2019.

Dustbun, a gray fluffy ball of fluff with tiny ears and round eyes

Dustbun

Rolls under the couch to collect fluff and secrets.

Pumpkin Imp, a small orange pumpkin-headed critter with a curly stem and leafy collar

Pumpkin Imp

A Halloween visitor. Out from October to early November, and it comes for plain Candy.

Frost Elf, a white fluffy critter with icy antlers, a blue scarf and a tiny lantern

Frost Elf

A holiday visitor. Drops in from late November to early January.

Couch Kraken, a small teal octopus-like critter with big golden eyes

Couch Kraken

Guards the lost remote deep in the cushions. A legendary, so it only comes for a Pro bait.

Your Sneakdex

18 sneaklings to collect. Every catch goes in with your own photo, a 1 to 3 star rating, a name and a rarity. Missed one? It sits there as a blurry "spotted" card until you snap it for real. Three stars on all 18 is the long game.

Row one: Candy Goblin, Moth Puff, Sock Noodle, Dustbun, Pebblemunch and Crumbwhisk Row two: Pumpkin Imp, Drip Gremlin, Lint Lurker, Spoonsnout, Cobweb Puff and Glimmerbat Row three: Bramble Axolotl, Frost Elf, Krampling, Hoardling, Moonmoth Queen and Couch Kraken

On a small screen, swipe sideways to see every sneakling.

Share the visit

Save a visit as a vertical clip with the night-vision look, the timestamp and the red REC dot. Your best photo of each sneakling stays in your Sneakdex. Every clip is set in your own room, so no two match.

Seasonal visitors

Some sneaklings only come out in season, and they follow your phone's calendar. Halloween ones show up from October to early November. Holiday ones come from late November to early January.
